Send by emailMarianna Wells, who died at the age of 88 in February, was a dependable supporter of AUD from its earliest days and a member of our $1000 Clarion Club.
In the early 1940s, she was a "Rosie, the Riveter," working at the Willow Run aircraft plant in Ypsilanti, MI, until it closed at the end of WWII. In the months before her death, she was active in the Democratic Party and in the Democratic Socialists of America in Michigan.
