  • Awesome volunteer, exciting project

Recently, AUD has had the good fortune of meeting Madeline A. Youngberg, a recent graduate of NYU film school with a penchant for union democracy. Youngberg and AUD have begun an exciting new project - a Union Democracy documentary. While production is in the beginning stages, we have high hopes for the project, given Youngberg’s talent and enthusiasm.

The impetus behind the project is to spread the word about union democracy in as many media as possible. In addition to its final full length form, we also plan on posting short segments of this documentary on our website using youtube.

  • Thanks to our membership, the Union Democracy Archive is ready to take off !

In the last issue of the $100+ Club News, we asked our members to help us create a Union Democracy Archive. Without exaggerating, I can say the response was tremendous! Within a few weeks, we received enough donations from members to buy not only the scanner, but also a media drive where we can store the soon to be digitalized history of union democracy.
